All field school students pay the lower resident tuition. - $2,166 (6 semester credits, Undergraduates) - $2,898 (6 semester credits, Graduates)
Field school students will stay in University of Hawaiʻi housing and have the option of getting a meal plan. Each student will apply for housing and meal plans individually through the housing office. The applications for summer housing will be open beginning late February through early March, 2013.
An additional field fee of $625 will cover program transportation, field trips, and laboratory/equipment expenses. Students staying on campus or those who wish to commute from campus will have daily outbound and return transportation between the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa and Kualoa Ranch. We will provide instructions for making payments to students once accepted. The Field fee payment deadline is TBD.
Students need to plan their own travel to and from Honolulu. There are many regular flights to Honolulu from the continental U.S. and many international cities. Kayak.com is a useful resource for finding the cheapest flights available. Participants should plan to arrive on O’ahu on June 17th, 2013. The program ends July 12, 2013, so students should plan to depart or find other accommodation from that date.
